Using this basic information eliminates having to give out personal information, and hundreds of dollars to have a stranger do it for you.Houston, TX (PRWEB) December 9, 2004 -- While understanding how vitally important maintaining a good credit profile is, and how identity theft claims are on the rise, now is an excellent time for consumers to utilize such information, especially with the recent launch of the federally mandated Annual Credit Report Request Service, which provides a central location for consumers to obtain a free copy of their credit reports each year. It began its rollout phase for consumers residing in the western states on December 1, 2004, and will be available to consumers nationwide by September 2005.
“Knowledge truly is power,” states Bullock. “When you know and understand the law you can make use of certain opportunities within it. We’ve all heard of these opportunities existing in many areas of the law, like Real Estate and Wills, Trusts and Probate, but generally only those with certain financial resources are able to reap the benefits of them. I am very passionate about sharing this information with anyone who cares to learn and use it. Your credit profile is so important because it affects just about every area of your life, and it’s frustrating when you experience the limitations that negative data can bring.”
“Most consumers are unaware that the laws governing credit reporting can actually make repairing a credit profile possible without it being a costly or frustrating task,” Nicola states. “Many people do not know that once a consumer disputes an item on their credit report, the credit bureau must then follow certain guidelines, and is placed under time constraints that are crucial to obtaining the desired results.”
Nicola was a student pursing her degree as a paralegal when she was initially introduced to the concepts that she shares in her seminars. “I was so excited, and upset when I learned about how simple it was,” she recalls, ”I literally told everyone I came into contact with: my friends, co-workers, my parents, and people I didn’t even know. They were just as amazed as I was, and were eager to learn more about it. It is still upsetting though, because most people don’t even know it’s possible to do.”
Through continued study she learned more about the process, and has experienced success in repairing her own credit profile, as well as for her family and friends, by using and sharing the technique she provides in the seminar, and within her booklet.
